Is yours destroyed? need to be careful with these as my vr had been fitted with a vp gearbox and it was causing it to shear the flex plates off the crank did 3 in a year cost 900 in parts and labour to replace them each time

Mine is still a goer but is rattling its head off when there is no load on the driveline,i still really need one before it goes, so if any one has a vp or vr series 2 that they are wrecking i will pay cash or beer or what ever, even if you have a series 2 engined car that u will sell complete for a couple hundred will be good, even better!let me know!!!!cheers Damo

Been under the car and checked nothing funny like a vp gearbox in it? which was what was causing mine, if you could do without the car for a few days i could possibly weld it up BUT no gaurente that it would be any good from memory to have a mechanic replace it your looking at about the $900 mark for the whole job can probably obtain a whole vr for that kinda money and strip it out and then on sell the parts to recoop some of the cost

no good jon, the holden part number is different between the eco and buick series 2 and series 1 is obviously different again,i think the eco and s2 are different diameter or amount of teeth,or offset etc
