Hi Everyone
On Monday the 25th October we will be holding the members meeting, due to it being the 4th monday of the month!
We would like as many members there as possible as we need to discuss upcoming topics for the club, and we do require members to come along and offer their input.
Hope to see everyone there!

How do we get more members to the members monthly meeting as tonights meeting only had a small attendance?
Does everyone need a reminder email that the meeting is on?

Im only new around here and would like to attend the club meetings but work late so its out for me as well.. This seems to be a commom problem with weeknight events/meetings, most have work / family commitments during the week.

Not really worth going to meetings all the way up in Vic Park after I have already driven home from work.
Meetings only last 30mins so why bother when everything is on the forums anyway?

Beside I don't have a Commodore anymore! Cry

i would like to go to 1 but i to work on monday nights. maybe on a weekend combined with a bbq or a cruise

Yeah maybe have the meeting side of things before a cruise so people who want to have a say in the clubs activity etc can rock up half an hour earlier?

yeah thats a good idea ryan, it takes me longer to drive up to the meetings than what they last aswell so being before a cruise/event would be good

Only problem is that the club rooms are not available on weekends due to sporting commitments etc.
I believe that a email reminder for people that want to come along to the meeting would be best and also to post up the newsletter after the meeting so that those of you that can't make the meeting can still get a copy of the newsletter from the forums.
