My brother has just found that the crown gear in his diff is missing 2 teeth so hes looking for a new/second hand replacement asap.
Alternatively, does anyone know a place that can do a cheap rebuild? His mechanics quoted around $1500 for it or $1200 for one from a wreckers.. Any help appreciated. Oh and apparently having ABS means its a slightly different diff so just have to mention it has ABS.

try south side transmission centre mate he does diffs everything

Ah well he needs his ute by the weekend so he gave in a got the one from the wreckers.

His mechanics managed to pick one up with abs and lsd for $1500.

But turned out the axles were bent so they managed to find a place that would rebuild his diff for $770.
