Title: VS 3.08 Ute Diff or Post by: REINST8D on May 13, 2010, 02:54:21 AM My brother has just found that the crown gear in his diff is missing 2 teeth so hes looking for a new/second hand replacement asap.
Alternatively, does anyone know a place that can do a cheap rebuild? His mechanics quoted around $1500 for it or $1200 for one from a wreckers.. Any help appreciated. Oh and apparently having ABS means its a slightly different diff so just have to mention it has ABS. But turned out the axles were bent so they managed to find a place that would rebuild his diff for $770. |
